Apr 30 2009: "Costumers can benefit from Unispeed data retention system." Employing Unispeed data retention units to the network adds much more than regulatory data retention and lawful interception capability to the network. br> It also allows service providers to generate new revenue streams by offering real-time data mining and content inspection to costumers. The Blue Shield probes can provide vital and timely information about network attacks and malicious traffic. ISP's can offer costumers continuous dump of network data, web analysis and traffic statistics to improve costumer experience. br> The pattern and string match capability of the Unispeed 10/20 Gbps units allows for almost 100.000 patterns and strings in several encodings to be matched against the entire content and forward whole sessions for further analysis. br> State of the art memory back-logging allows for the units to capture the full session from start to end, regardless where in a session the match occurs. br>
Jan 10 2009: "Unispeed Blue shield sets new standard for data retention." A major concern for service providers is the wast amount of data that has to be transported and subsequent stored in connection with regulatory data retention. Leading to extensive network usage and unacceptable long data distillation times. br> Unispeed has solved this problem by adding data mining capability to all of it's data retention units. br> When a request for CDR has been received the Blue Shield management system forwards the request to each data retention unit administered by the system. Comprehensive data indexing insures swift data mediation and handover to the delivery function.
